Maximising media opportunities at exhibitions
Exhibitions are a wasted media opportunity for many organisations.
After spending thousands on the space, stand design and collaterals many marketing managers then ignore basic opportunities that can increase footfall and sales before, during and after the event .
That is why we have created our EXpress PR service.
For a very limited cost Kestrel can help you maximise your exhibition profile. Our EXpress PR package includes the following services:
- Catalogue and website entries – We will work with you to identify your key exhibition messages and talking points and draft entries for both the exhibition website and in-show catalogue. We will also maintain contact with the event organisers to identify any other potential promotional opportunities which we will highlight.
- Pre-exhibition media support – We will identify relevant media (either partnered with or attending the show) and track and monitor their editorial deadlines for any show previews features. We will highlight these opportunities to you.
- Press release & press pack – Utilising your key messages we will draft a high quality press release and distribute this to the relevant key media. We will follow this up with calls inviting the journalists to visit your stand and if possible arrange interviews on the stand. In addition, we will work with you to prepare a comprehensive press pack including the show press release, organisation background information, executive biographies (if attending) and other relevant/newsworthy press releases/collaterals.
Price: From £800 (This price does not include Kestrel attendance at the Exhibition and final cost will also depend on other factors such as number of press packs required, size of sectoral media and number of show previews).
Ideally, planning a strong PR platform for an exhibition should start at least three to six months in advance of the event and even earlier if you are interested in obtaining highly sought after speaker opportunities (these can start being filled up to a year in advance).
Our experience is that those organisations that start planning their Exhibition PR approach earlier rather than later reap significant benefits in terms of profile, footfall and sales.
